All I need to know about exercising I learned from my son…

on May 7, 2010

This morning I was doing my workout video (Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred) and James decided to do it with me.  I learned several valuable lessons from the experience:

1. Do most of the video sitting on the couch

2. Wait until you really know what’s going on before you jump in and do it

3. Whatever you do, do it with gusto – then people won’t notice you’re doing it wrong

4. During the weightlifting portion, find something else to do with your weights besides lift them

5. When you get tired, say “Whoa,” pretend to lose your balance, and just fall over

I like his exercise philosophy – don’t you?

If you were wondering, I couldn’t find my hand weights, so I was using soup cans, these are the James size soup cans 🙂
